Winter Success at its Best!
Winter Success at its Best!
January is the time when we start focussing in on our fluency and reading non-sense words. My kids love to play these games and when it is time to clean up they don't want to. I love anything that keeps them engaged while they are learning. These can be found in my Winter Success Kit. It is on sale right now too! The best part about these games is that both the boys and the girls love them and they are quick and easy to set up.
Tired of hearing that your students are finished and they have nothing to do? Well, these centers are for you.

December Unit Posted
The winner of the Name The Unit is:
Crystal Radke from Kreative in Kinder
Thanks Crystal and everyone for all your creative names.
Now, I have to apologize. I have spent the last 5 hours 3 this morning and 2 last night trying to get this unit up. I am totally frustrated and realized it is way too big to have all together. I broke it into smaller pieces and still too big, so I had to break it into smaller pieces, well, to make a long story short it is in several pieces. I hope you like it. Sorry for all the inconvenience. I am totally frustrated beyond belief, but I love the pieces to the unit and that is what makes me smile. Here are snapshots of the unit. Enjoy!
All Units/Centers are 20% off for today!!

December Math Centers
I am so excited and crazy at the same time. LOL I have been working like Santa's little elf on my December Unit. When I create my units I really try hard to meet the needs of all the learners in the classroom and list several ways to play and different recording sheets for everyone. I also realize that everyone has different areas that they are working on during the month so I try to include games for everyone. I think I may have got carried away because I am still working on the math section and ........... ready for this............ it is already at 160 pages. Don't panic, I tried to include black and white masters (if it was possible) for the games so you don't have to use all your ink up! :) If I couldn't do it in black and white, I suggest printing gray scale. That works well for me. That being said, I am excited to finish it up although I have sooo much more I want to add, but at this rate it wouldn't be done until after the new year. I am hoping to have it posted soon so be on the look out. You will not be disappointed.

Pop, Pop, Poppin Centers

I have finally compiled a lot of my popcorn centers into one unit. I could go on forever with these. This has 158 pages, but the best part is that EVERY center is in color or black and white. If you are like me, I am at Staples almost every week buying colored ink!! I hope this helps.
It is on sale now!

I hope you like it.

Back to School Things Posted

So much to do, so little time. Here is my Chester's Days in School unit for centers to use with the Kissing Hand. Also include, is a emergent reader about Chester Meeting Pete the Cat! so cute. One of my favorite things to do in the beginning of the year is to have my students believe that the classroom is magical and we all have magical abilities. I have included in this unit a Chester Magical Math Wheel where the students pick a number and you will be able to guess their number every time! My students love it. It is also a great transition activity to pull their attention back or just if you have a few minutes. There are over 13 centers. Pick and choose the ones that are best for you or choose all of them!!
I have also posted previously Speedy Race for Math. My kids LOVE speedy race for letters, so I know this will help them learn their numbers quickly. Some of the new Reading and Writing Strategies posted are:
Seuss, Western, Pirate, Hollywood and Monster. Also check out my Fire Safety unit for October. Lots of great centers to keep your little ones busy all month! I added an odd an even sign to post in your classroom. And finally, if you have to post the Common Core Standards in your classroom these will be a great addition. These use the "vigor" of the verb when stated. I think that should keep you up to date. My friend Jennifer from Kinderpond also has posted some awesome things on TPT. Check these out: School Supplies Pocket Chart, School Supplies Emergent Reader, School Supplies Student Color Book, and Student Supplies Big Book!
