100 Day Packet (part 2)

100 Days of School

It is finally up and posted. My kids are SO excited for the 100th day of school! When we do calendar they actually look at the empty squares in the ten frames and tell me how many days left! How awesome is that?

I have all my 100 day activities printed from my 100 Day Pack from last year (click here) but wanted some more activities to keep the celebration going! We wait 100 days to celebrate just one day! LOL
So, I added some more activities in both black and white and color to extend the fun.

Click here to see 100 Day Packet Part 2.
Activities include:
Gumball Roll and Tally Marks, Super Hero Short Vowel Sounds, Monkey Addition to 100, Skip Counting, Zero the Hero Sight Words, Making your students into a 100 Dollar Bill, Money Name and Picture Match, Greater Than and Less Than, Odd and Even, Expanded Form, Counting Items to 100, Ten Frame to 100, Building 10's to 100, Detective Monkey and the Missing Numbers (using the 100 chart to build number sense) Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

And of course we will start the day with our 100 Day Book. This is always a favorite! Click here to see our morning work.

I love the 100 Day of School!

Can We Help?

I am so sorry I have been missing in action. I have been completely exhausted. I was reading and saw Deedee's blog and had to repost this. This is a letter she received.

I teach in Joplin, which made worldwide news last May when our town was cut in half by an F5 tornado. Many of our elementary schools were destroyed or damaged, and as teachers, we have had a roller coaster year. I came from a meeting yesterday where many are struggling with the weight of all we are dealing with. My request is this: would you be willing to donate a created pack of your choosing to give away at a drawing at our upcoming district Kindergarten grade level meeting? The meeting is Monday and I am sorry for the short notice but I did not realize until the meeting how down everyone is feeling.

Want to help? Here is how:

1. Send your TpT product or Teacher's Notebook to Erica

2. Then link up here

New TPTer! Great QAR Poster Set!

Introducing Christina!

I want to introduce you to my friend who teaches Second Grade upstairs in my building. Her name is Christina. She is awesome. She is like an energizer bunny. She is new to TPT, but will listing a lot of her ideas soon. Check out her QAR posters and bookmarks. They are totally awesome. She also teaches ELL so if you need something like that send her an email!

Let's show her what it is like to become part of the Teacherspayteachers Family. Come and follow her TPT store. She is very lonely at 1! Can we help her out? Thanks everyone!

The QAR poster set includes one poster on each of the four types of questions - Right There, Think & Search, On My Own, and Author and You. It also includes two signs - In My Head and In The Book to differentiate between which strategies can be found where.

Lastly, it includes QAR bookmarks that can printed, laminated and given to the students as a reminder of the four types of questions.
