This weekend was amazing. George celebrated his 14th birthday. I have a 14 year old! I don't think I am ready for that one. LOL My daughter also had her very first Gymnastics Meet. It was so exciting to see compete. She certainly is a performer. It was such a wonderful experience in many ways. Ashley is competing for the gym which I started my gymnastics career at, and to top it off her coach is my former teammate. How exciting is that? The meet was at West Chester University which another one of my former coaches in now a head coach at. She had so much fun. She did really great and I am so proud of her. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her with this sport. Good luck in the rest of your season Ashley!

My daughter did gymnastics for 21 years! She was a Level 10 State Champion on floor and vault. She went to college and became an all around competitor for all 4 years on a full scholarship. She is now going for her fifth year on scholarsip as an assistant coach. Gymnastics was a wonderful and rewarding lifelong achievement for her! Good Luck to you and your daughter!
Thanks Laurie. That is so awesome. Where does your daughter go to school at? My husband and I both went to college on full gymnastics scholarships too so I hope that she will continue to do it and hopefully have your schooling paid for also. I think this sport is one of the best sports around. Although, now I wish I was just able to bend over and touch my toes. haha
