Fabulous Portrait Giveaway!

I have the most exciting news for all of you.  I have the privilege of giving away The Silhouette Portrait.  Looks like Christmas is coming early this year!

They say good things come in small packages and they sure have that right.  The Silhouette Portrait is an electronic cutting machine.  It plugs into your PC or Mac, but instead of printing, you cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric or any other material.  This is a teacher's dream!  Finally being able to cut the letters in the font I want for my classroom. Take a look at how Lyndsey Kuster's  mom used this machine to decorate the front of her desk.  All I can say is WOW!

You can read all about it by clicking on the picture!

I am totally inspired by this and plan I to do something like this in my classroom too!  The possibilities are endless.
These are some of the things I have created using my Silhouette.   I am looking forward to the holiday so I can start to create more.

You can create custom glasses for your kids or even ornaments for Christmas!

Keep checking back because I have another surprise for you later in the week.

Enter this fabulous giveaway here
Good Luck!

Contest runs through Monday, December 1, 2014

I am so sorry for any confusion.  The rafflecopter is not working properly so........Please leave a comment on how you would use The Silhouette Portrait in your classroom or any other place.  Share an idea or tell us something fun you want to do with it.   I will use a random number generator to choose a winner.

For more ideas:

For fun teaching ideas:

These are NOT required to enter this contest.

My special needs students established their own school based crafting business last year. We partner with general education students and volunteers to craft items. We then hold sales in the school and community to raise money for our class. It is teaching them a great life skill. We could really use this machine! Sometimes we struggle with cutting and fine motor skills. This would allow us to increase production and the students would be trained on how to use the machine. Fingers crossed!

The possibilities are endless. I would use this to decorate the classroom, use it with PBIS rubrics around the school, also it would definitely be a useful tool to help our 5th graders raise money for their 5th grade field trip to Myrtle Waves at the end of the school year. We try to raise enough money so that they do not have to pay to go there or somewhere for the whole day. Since it's their last year in elementary school, we want to give them some great memories!

Also, with our school being 98% free and reduced lunch population, we can raise funds to cover field trips that our students would normally not be able to pay for or take due to the high cost of fuel and admission.

This would be a HUGE asset for my classroom as well as my school!
