The end of the year is finally year. It is the most amazing thing to watch these little ones grow into such learners. We have so many fun things planned for the next two weeks. There is field day, Luau, Specialist Day and then finally Moving Up Day. We have been busy bees finishing up all the work that needs to be done. On Friday, we took a break so we could make our Graduation Craft. They did such a great job. This year we only did it as a craft, but in years past we have created it with the glyph that is enclosed and then used our glyph to determine our data. I also am sending them home with a summer packet so they don't forget all the fabulous things they learned all year. I always hear from the parents that they want things to do with their children but do not know where to look. I created a Parent Survival Guide a few years back that I send home and the parent's love it.
I am excited for summer to start because we have so many projects that we are working on and I can't wait for them to be finished. I will have to keep you posted throughout the summer. As many of you know, we moved in October so we are finally getting a chance to finish unpacking and maybe I will be able to see my garage floor again. LOL Tom is tiling the porch. We found these really pretty coffee colored tiles at Lowes and I am loving the way that it looks. We just chopped down a few trees because our big project is putting in a pool. The kids are really really excited about that. I will be excited once I find a raft that I can sit on and NOT get wet. haha. Unless that water gets to 90 plus degrees I will be floating ABOVE the water. Who knows what else we will get ourselves into. I am thinking some new light fixtures and definitely some work on the kitchen. I will show you pictures as we are making progress. In the meantime, I know I have some things planned for you and there will be some other surprises this summer but I am not allowed to tell you yet. So keep checking back. Fun times this summer so stay tuned!!! Not much longer now!
Check out these things for the end of the year.
